Hurricane Helene destroyed a wide swath of Florida, Georgia, and Appalachia. Many thousands are still flooded out of their homes. They are without power or transportation. They are without medical care. They are hungry, thirsty, and isolated without any help whatsoever. Many have already died.
Biden was slow to react. Kamala was in Hollywood collecting millions of donated dollars from her celebrity allies. Trump was concerned with helping the hurricane victims and doing his best to restore communications. Florida Governor DeSantis was immediately on the case as expected.
Biden said the government lacked resources to help. He was dogged by reporters and angrily blustered that he was doing something about it—he was making phone calls. Finally, he was shamed into announcing an upcoming visit to the disaster area. It will be nothing more than a photo op. He also said he would ask Congress to fund recovery efforts. This is similar to his Palestine Ohio train derailment and massive chemical spill delay. It seems Joe does not much care about the American people or visiting disaster areas—especially those in red areas with Trump supporters.

Joe does care about taking vacations and enriching his family through bribes and graft. Kamala cares about wearing very expensive jewelry while about avoiding reporters who ask her difficult policy questions. As border czar, it took her years to make a single visit to our southern border. It was nothing more than a photo op.
The Democrats don’t really care about average Americans. They might go through the motions, but what they really care about is power and enriching themselves while destroying America. Maybe they should name the next storm “Hurricane Kamala.”
