Trump’s Disassembly Line: Pam Bondi Gets Fired

President Trump has never had problems firing people—even his friends—and now Pam Bondi is the latest cabinet member to be rolled away on his Disassembly Line.
Trump already fired Jeff Sessions and he should have fired William Barr, but the latter sensed what was coming and resigned first. Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation early on, earning the nickname “Mr. Magoo.” He frustrated Trump with what many saw as weakness against the Deep State. William Barr defended the president publicly, but did nothing to support him. Later, he wrote a tell-all book claiming Trump was ‘off the rails.” Five others either resigned or were fired during Trump’s first term.
Recently, Kristi Noem was dropped, and now Pam Bondi is wobbling down the conveyor belt with her stack of Epstein papers. Allegedly, the tipping point occurred when Bondi informed Swalwell of charges ahead of time. Trump was furious.

During her 14-month stint as Attorney General, Bondi racked up some tangible wins. Her DOJ oversaw a major crackdown on violent crime and fentanyl trafficking, with the administration claiming millions of lives saved through aggressive seizures at the border. She aggressively targeted drug cartels, supported immigration enforcement, pursued human trafficking cases, dismantled illegal DEI programs in federal agencies, and fired numerous career officials viewed as politicized holdovers.
Yet for many in the MAGA base, disappointment outweighed her accomplishments. Similar to Sessions, Bondi has not brought swift justice against Democrat wrongdoers. Her handling of the Epstein Files became a major political liability and it drew fire even from Trump loyalists.
Is Tulsi Gabbard the next cabinet member to drop?
Maybe. Maybe not.
What is unmistakable is President Trump’s clear message in this second term: Loyalty alone isn’t enough. Results are required or it’s adios, muchacha and muchachos.
