Wait! Who is that? Is it President Trump behind the wheel of a new DOGE garbage truck, roaring through the swampy streets of Washington, D.C. with a mission to clean up the mess of corruption and waste? Yes, it is! 

And helping him is Elon Musk—the tech titan turned trash collector and he is gleefully emptying out cans of government waste like a happy kid on recycling day. The truck comes with a catchy name—Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE for short—and it’s hauling away the kind of bureaucratic junk that’s been stinking up the system for years and even decades.

Trump’s steering this beast with a grin, shouting over the engine, “We’re draining the swamp, folks—one trash can at a time!”

Meanwhile, Elon’s got his hands full, dumping out cans labeled ‘USAID,’ ‘National Public Radio (NPR),’ and ‘Transportation Security Administration (TSA)’.”with the precision of a SpaceX launch. The USAID can is a real heavyweight—recently, the DOGE team sniffed out what they call a pile of financial waste and corruption, especially in NGO funding, with Musk claiming billions were funneled into what he dubbed “scam charities.” Trump even chimed in, alleging USAID was tossing around “hundreds of millions” in questionable aid.

On the curb sits the NPR can—National Public Radio, or as Elon might call it, “National Propaganda Radio.” DOGE’s latest finds suggest some of these projects were less about unbiased reporting  and more about gaslighting the American public. Then there’s the TSA can, rattling with what DOGE claims are overblown costs and inefficiencies. Musk’s team has been digging through the agency’s spending, hinting at everything from overpriced scanners to staff twiddling their thumbs at empty airports.

Together, Trump and Musk are making quite the cleanup crew with the DOGE team doing yeoman’s work.  Recent DOGE reported slashing billions—nearly $4.7 billion in contracts for stuff like alpaca farming in Peru and gender equity workshops in Mexico, thus saving taxpayers a cool $3.3 billion. DOGE even has their sights on bigger garbage hauls, with Musk eyeing a trillion-dollar trim by May’s end. It’s not all smooth sailing, though—federal judges keep tossing legal banana peels in their path, crying foul over moves like the USAID shutdown. But Trump just revs the Tesla garbage truck engine louder, and Elon keeps pitching trash, proving this DOGE truck has plenty of mileage left in its fight against government waste and fraud.
