“The President of the United States is not above the Law!”
When Letitia James ran for New York Attorney General in 2018, she vowed to go after Donald Trump. She said he was an ‘illegitimate president,’ and an embarrassment. She had no case against him, but after she was elected she went on a fishing expedition. She invented civil fraud charges against Trump. She said his Mar-a-Lago property was worth far less than what he claimed when using it to obtain a bank loan. James assumed she was a real estate expert and claimed Mar-a-Lago was worth only $18 million. Many say it’s worth well over $100 million.

In 2023 James teamed up with Judge Engoron, another rabid, leftist anti-Trumper. Together they convicted (railroaded) Trump and ordered him to pay more than $350 million and banned him from doing business in New York. This despite the fact that the bank loan was paid back. The bank said they were happy and would do business with Trump again. Trump’s conviction was blatant and obvious law-fare.
Now the shoe is on the other foot. James has been accused of mortgage fraud and Trump has made a criminal referral to the Justice Department for prosecution. Letitia claimed Trump is ‘weaponizing the justice system.’ That statement drips with irony. James lied on a loan application form, claiming her principal residence was in Virginia in order to get a lower rate.
