I knew that there was a possibility that Trump could be convicted, but I thought most likely it would end up in a mistrial. After all, any reasonable and fair-minded juror could see how the case against the former president was politically concocted out of smoke and mirrors. However, the jury inhaled the smoke deeply, and as if on orders from Judge Merchan they found Trump guilty on all 34 concocted counts. 

One of my favorite movies is “The Verdict” starring Paul Newman. Toward the end of the film he made a profound and impassioned speech to the jury. Here’s an excerpt:

“…Today you are the law. You are the law, not some book, not the lawyers, not a marble statue, or the trappings of the court. See, those are just symbols of our desire to be just. They are, in fact, a prayer. I mean, a fervent and a frightened prayer.

In my religion, they say, “Act as if you had faith; faith will be given to you.”

If we are to have faith in justice we need only to believe in ourselves and act with justice. I believe there is justice in our hearts.”

The jurors in Judge Merchan’s court did not have justice in their hearts. They had a built-in leftist desire to ‘get Trump,’ and Merchan’s instructions all but guaranteed the guilty verdict. Steve Bannon is right—we all saw this coming but many were in denial. Such blatant trial rigging constitutional abuse represents is a crossing of a legal Rubicon. They opened up a legal Pandora’s Box. Yes, they ‘got’ the bad orange man, but it won’t stop there. Politics has now officially polluted our justice system and we can expect the Deep State to concoct more nonsensical cases against their political enemies in the near future—and they will win unless we see a massive pushback against the political weaponization of our justice system.

It’s not over yet—there is still hope, but we must push back. If there is no push back, then we had better get used to the bitter fruits of Biden’s Banana Republic. Our country will be no different than Cuba, North Korea, Communist China, or the old Soviet Union. There will be show trials and even more rigged trials that send people off to gulags. The Deep State totalitarian police state is now in full bloom.

President Trump set a record for the most small donations in the hours after the guilty verdict, 35 million dollars. The American people are with President Trump. This is shaping up to be the biggest boomerang backlash in American history.

The Daily Mail poll just released, President Trump has a 6 point jump overnight.

Trump will be appealing this case.
